Silly boys... games are for girls!

I have loved gaming my whole life... and I have strong opinions about games. Here is where I write about the games that I play!

I play a variety of games. My favorite genre is open world action RPGs (Skyrim, the Witcher 3, etc.). I also love farming sims and an eclectic selection of other genres. My heart will always have a soft spot for girly games.

Girls' Fashion Shoot (2011)
I downloaded this game thinking it would be a worse Style Savvy, but I was pleasantly surprised! This has a different gameplay loop and cute fashion. In this game, the clothes for each modeling job are given to you, and you must build up your own wardrobe for modeling auditions. There is a fun magazaine cover element to the game too, and I had a lot of fun with it! Also, this game came out before any of the 3DS Style Savvy games, which puts it into historical perspective. I recommend it!

Cities Skylines (2014)
Dudu gave me 16 GBs of RAM for Christmas, and with everything going on in my life right now, I wanted to play a game that completely aborbs me in its addictive gameplay loop. Cities Skylines is just the remedy I needed.

Suika (2023)
I decided to try the original 'fruit game' because I got a month of Apple Arcade free with my new phone. After being obsessed with a knock-off a couple years ago, I thought I would be more into this. The physics engine is definitely better, but I onlyu played for a few days before getting bored with it.

I got addicted to it. This is my favorite game to play when I'm antsy and watching TV. Girl, meet block. You know the drill.

Life Makeover (2023)
I was inspired to play this by Cabbage's Life Makeover shrine. It is a Shining Nikki knock-off, and it's fun! I got a new phone recently, and I wanted to see how well a game like this would perform. I play casually every night, slowly building up my wardrobe. I haven't even touched the house design aspect yet. There is a lot to this game!

I came back after a break to finish another few quests. I'm satisfied for now, but I plan on finishing this play through at some point!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
I got the itch after years to finally return to the game. I explored the new update, and the QOL updates were nice. I wasn't too impressed by the Hotel update, it feeling much too similar to the Happy Home Paradise DLC to stand out. I appreciate that random villagers come to visit me now. I did some major island renovations, but I got bored after a couple weeks, per usual. It's a great game in small bursts.

Baldur's Gate 3
I had a blast playing a bard tav and romancing Shadowheart. To be honest, I didn't quite finish the game (again), but this time time it was because my PC kept exploding during Act 3... *sob* It was an exceptionally fun playt hrough though. I was essentially RPing as myself, and I KNOW I must be a bit evil because Astarion, Shadowheart, AND Lae'zel would disapprove of my dastardly antics at times. I hope to come back and finish one day. ♥

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (2017)
Is it crazy to say that I've NEVER played Mario Kart 8? EVER? It's been out for 12 years? (Which makes me feel totally old lol). It was nostalgic and fun. I forgot how much I love Mario Kart. ♥ Other racing games just don't hit the same.

Tomodachi Life: Livin' the Dream (2026)
It's a delight, definitely worth the hype. I loved making all of my OCs interact and designing my island. I had a lot of fun playing this one with my family, in particular.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (2015)
The Witcher 3 is one of my all time favorite games. I have read the books since my last playthrough, and it really elevated my experience and appreciation of the game. I had to stop earlier than expected as I got busy with work and other games. I plan on continuing when I have time. I'm so excited for the new DLC! ♥

Paralives
I bought the long awaited Paralives to support the game's launch! I've been following the development of this game from the start, but it's still underbaked for my gaming tastes. I knew what to expect going in, so I'm not disappointed by any means. The game isn't ready for me to fully enjoy yet, and that's OK. I'm happy to be there from day 1.

It is shockingly good for a torture porn game. I suspect the characters and story are as strong as they are because the game is developed by a team of volunteers rather than one person. The love people have for the game and its characters shine through with each update. I don't recommend it to anyone, however. It's degenerate but I like it.
